👉 The process of making the butterfly is quite easier than I expected. So here are the steps to make a butterfly:

Malleable Wire 2
Malleable Wire 1

👇  So down here is a closer look at how I use the malleable wire to the subject! I also use malleable wire as the butterfly's beard.

👉 The first step is to prepare the malleable wire into shape first.

_ So why I choose the "Y" shape:

  • 1st reason is helping me to cover both of the wings.

  • 2nd reason is to change the direction of the wings.

👉 At the beginning of week 8 and this week 9, I have mentioned the spinning table which is one of the obvious things that I need to have to have a finished zoetrope. So that is why you can see the image next to this paragraph showing 1 part of the spinning table.

_Because of the limitation of time so I only have the spinning part to attack to formex cardboard.

_You can also see I have to attack the formed cardboard and the spinning part by using the malleable wire and glue guns to make it strongarm.

_You can see my video about it here.

👁️‍🗨️  After finishing all of the above, I have also taken some still-life photographs to show the final result.

👉 Here are some videos that I record for the butterfly zoetrope.
