ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASS

Week 09

πŸ‘οΈ‍πŸ—¨οΈ NOTES: We start a small talk with class in the first 20 minutes and then we set up a time for a 1v1 tutorial. So the tutorial section started with me at 9:40 then Trang, Zoe, Oh, and then Prey.

πŸ‘‰ Week 9's works: Continue with experiments and everything!!! Don't worry!!! Remember to relisten to Monday Tutorial to remind yourself about this!

Monday Tutorial:

Richard Monday 7-6-21
00:00 / 13:52

πŸ‘οΈ‍πŸ—¨οΈ Remembered: this module is all about showing as much as possible experiments/readings/researching!!!

πŸ‘‰ Do more the paper-based experiment even more!! Remember to connect it with what I am doing in project 1!

πŸ‘‰ So you need to do a paper-based experiment, sculptures and think about it very simply.

βœ”οΈ Try the same idea but with something else. Like mixing it up. [Example: the walking circle - a set frequency of frames showing that 1 person is walking. So you can experiment with somebody who is jumping or running.]

βœ”οΈ Relook all the books that Richard suggest!!  ["The Craftsman" and "Together" - Richard Sennett] [Books in week 8 by Paul Jackson]

πŸ‘‰ So you can look at your packaging skills. Think about how it might be useful with the paper-based experiment?

To-do List:

βœ”οΈ Doing the Human Zoetrope... (like how do I use myself as the subject in a Zoetrope experiment? Just like what I do with the first Zoetrope experiment!!! The Walking Circle)

βœ”οΈMaking a Spinning Table!!! (this is important because I need it for the Zoetrope and Phekistoscope experiment!!!)

βœ”οΈPaper-based experiment:

_ Re-research about paper-based to come up with ideas of making experiments.

_ Relook the "The Craftsman" and "Together" - Richard Sennett & books in week 8 by Paul Jackson.

_ Redo the phases of the flight of a butterfly. (instead of using print we use a paper-based experiment)
